Team UV,
As we monitor the rapidly changing weather conditions, we are anticipating a snow event to impact our area within the next 24 hours. This is expected to result in hazardous road conditions and potential travel disruptions. Given the critical nature of our work, we are implementing all-hands-on-deck expectations for staffing during this time. Your presence is vital to ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.
We want to make sure you have the resources you need to safely and reliably report to work. To support you:
- Rides are available for those who need transportation assistance. We fully support your safety, and we do not expect anyone to put themselves in harm’s way to report to work. If road conditions are unsafe or you feel it is too dangerous to travel, we encourage you to reach out to your Department Manager or Director of Nursing to discuss alternative arrangements.
- On-site accommodations will be provided for those who may need to stay overnight. If travel conditions prevent you from safely returning home after a shift, or arriving on time, we offer temporary accommodations on-site.
Please plan ahead and make use of these resources to ensure that you can fulfill your shift. We rely on your commitment during this time, and we want to ensure that everyone stays safe while maintaining our high standards of care.
If you foresee any challenges with attendance, please notify your Department Manager as soon as possible. We will do our best to assist you with your needs.
Thank you for your dedication and flexibility as we navigate this weather event together!
