MEET PAT FOSTER! Pat is a newer resident of University Village – she moved here in February of this year! She was born in Collinsville, Oklahoma to her loving parents and older brother. Pat grew up enjoying frequent and spontaneous day trips exploring nearby states with her parents. Pat’s first job was working the counter at a drugstore, but as an adult, she worked in the office of Prudential Real Estate. Pat was married to her husband for 30 years, and he was a wonderful spouse and step-father to her children. She actually met him through her son— he was her son’s father in law! Pat was blessed with 5 children, the oldest of which is soon to be 65 years old, and 13 grandchildren, the youngest of which is 4 years old! Pat has traveled all over the United States with her family – both as a child, and with her own children. One of Pat’s many talents is being an extraordinary seamstress. Pat spent years sewing and making all the clothes for her daughters when they were growing up. Pat loves her family, and loves sharing stories about her childhood and her children. For the past 78 years, she has held on to her favorite doll from childhood – it’s even in a display case in her bedroom! Pat shares her best words of wisdom, “Think before you speak.” Pat is an incredible addition to the UV family and wonderful person to spend time with!
