Alzheimer’s Walk

In The United States someone develops Alzheimer’s every 66 seconds. Currently, more than 5 million Americans are living with the disease and in 2015, Alzheimer’s cost the United States $236 billion. So what do we do about this? The Alzheimer’s Association created The Walk To End Alzheimer’s which is held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, and is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Interested in making a difference? On October 22nd, a team of University Village walkers will be walking to end Alzheimer’s, Downtown Tulsa, at Guthrie Green and it’s easy to join us. Here’s how:
