Hello! I am Katti Schwin, the new Wellness Coordinator. I have been teaching in the Health Fitness industry for twelve years. I have taught Strength, Flexibility, Bootcamp, Aquatics, Dance, Yoga, and Pilates to a variety of populations over the years. I have a degree in Health and Human Performance and have been certified by the American Heart Association, Physical Mind Institute, and Powder Blue Productions. I have also volunteered at the Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges, Tulsa Public Schools, and as the vice president of OSU-Tulsa Health Promotions Club. I am passionate about staying active. I am looking forward to offering fitness programs to the residents of University Village and creating new positive experiences in health. Fitness has been a significant resource to increasing quality of life, and I am a firm believer in the benefits of exercise. I am very interested in feedback and am looking forward to getting acquainted with the residents. I have posted the benefits of walking and a distance tracker in the Fitness Studio billboard.
