Health Center COVID19 Testing June 3rd

June 1, 2020

UV (Health Center only) residents and staff will be tested Wednesday, June 3rd starting at 9:30am.  All staff need to be here by 10am.  Staff who refuse the test will be taken off of the schedule (per the State Health Dept).

Also, for your family and other staff, there are several FREE testing sites:

  • One such place is the Wal-Mart near UV.  They have a site set up in the parking lot.
  • The Tulsa Health Department will be offering free COVID-19 testing in north Tulsa next Friday, June 5 during the ‘Unity in the Community’ event taking place at the 36th Street North Event Center. Our specimen collection site will be set up next door with tents in the parking lot of the Greater Union Baptist Church from 4-7pm. No appointment is necessary. Individuals can walk up or drive-thru. A public health professional will use a nasal swab to collect a specimen for testing. The whole process takes 5 minutes or less, and test results will be available on Tuesday. Our nurses will also be on site with the Oklahoma Caring Van offering childhood immunizations at no cost for those who qualify as well. It’s important for parents and guardians to keep children up-to-date on their immunizations, so we don’t see an increase in vaccine-preventable diseases too.
