We are planning a 3-month focus on Wellness and we hope you’ll participate. There are several components and you can choose 1 or all of them! Join us as we welcome in a New Year with renewed health!
- Biggest Loser Contest- See details below
- Walking Warriors- Join fellow coworkers for a quick walk around the building-meet in front lobby at 10:00 a.m. or 3:00 p.m.
- Links to landing page for articles, TED talks, blogs etc.
- Healthy snack option each Friday at 2:00 in the employee breakroom
- Healthy recipe sharing- turn in your favorite healthy recipe to the front reception desk, check recipe book to grab a recipe to try.
- Share your favorite Healthy Habit on the bulletin board by the time clock
- Tai Chi Tuesdays- Come by the Wellness Studio on Tuesdays at 3:00 to learn some basic Tai Chi moves. The class will be a quick 10 minutes
BIGGEST LOSER CONTEST:
When: January 17th – April 10th
Cost: $ 20
How: Sign up and weigh in with Brad on Monday, January 18th in the Wellness room between 8-10 or 3-4. Weekend and night staff will be weighed by a nurse. Brad will keep a confidential spread sheet of everybody’s weight. You can then choose to weigh in each Monday, or you can wait until the final weigh-in.
Prize: The person that loses the highest percentage of weight will win all of the money that was put in at the beginning. In addition to that, University Village is going to kick in an extra $100. So, the more people that enter, the higher the prize!
If you wish to participate in the Biggest Loser Contest, please turn in your $20 to the front desk, and sign up with Brad. Money due by Monday, Jan. 25th.
